Bernanke's QE cash and the S&P 500 (and other U.S. indices) had broken out of a 13 year overhead resistance/lateral. Not coincidence. Liquidity flowed into stocks + Machine madness.

Spoke to a friend who knows people at US pension funds. A number in a floating rate carry trade the banks have sold them that is sucking cash with an inverted yield curve. They are selling equities and other asset classes to meet their swap obligations. Similar to UK issue.
