Congratulations to Kayla Schramm for placing 6th in the 600m at States (7th in the Federation)! Schramm ran a personal best 1:36.66, just .5 shy of the school record (1:36.13) set by Goshen legend Kate Laskoski! About 80 min earlier, Schramm placed 12th in the 1k! @GCSDAthletics

Congratulations to seniors Kayla Schramm & Areyanna McCarthy who punched their tickets to next weekend’s State meet at Ocean Breeze! McCarthy finished 2nd in triple jump and Schramm won both the 1000m & the 600m! @GCSDAthletics @GoshenCSD

An outstanding day at the North Shore Invite, headlined by Kayla Schramm taking 1st place in the 1500m with a PR of 4:43.6! Areyanna McCarthy also jumped to a new PR in triple: 35ft, 2.75in for 3rd place, & 4th place in HJ! Many other PR’s & strong performances… @GCSDAthletics

Yesterday we hosted a scrimmage with Burke Catholic and got into the holiday spirit by bringing back a Goshen tradition, Candy Cane Relays! It was a beautiful day at the Coliseum, despite the drop in temps and heavy wind, a great time was had by all! @GCSDAthletics @_BCXCTF_

For the first time in 668 days, the Gladiators made the trip to NYC to compete at the Armory for the Coach Saint Invitational, named for Goshen’s very own Tim St. Lawrence! Many athletes ran new PR’s and everyone gained valuable experience! @GCSDAthletics @GoshenCSD

Goshen XC places 6th overall at the NYS Championships for class B. Seniors Schramm, Diorio, Paneto lead the way. Sophomores Duggan and Catalano closed the scoring. Seniors Kelly and Henry finished quickly after. Schramm makes the podium placing 12th overall! Congratulations!

Goshen XC is ready for the State meet! The girls team (Kayla, Christina, Ysa, Gianna, Dylin, Chelsea, & Maria) and Caleb previewed the course and ran some strides! Girls race tomorrow at 9AM; Caleb races at 11AM!
