eDiscovery search isn't a relevance score. It's phrase, proximity, boolean and wildcard operators, the grammar ESI protocols are written in. If you can't show the exact query you ran, you can't defend the results.

Microsoft stopped metering the Teams export APIs on Aug 25, 2025. Capturing Teams chats now needs an active Teams license per exported user, not E5 or a billing setup. If your archive's setup guide says otherwise, it's out of date.

GDPR erasure vs. retention lock looks like a contradiction. Crypto-shredding resolves it: destroy the record's key under dual control, so the archive can never decrypt it again, and the sealed object still verifies.
