🚨 ₹546 CRORE REFUND ORDER — RETAIL TRADERS DESERVE ANSWERS SEBI’s final order against Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy and Avadhut Sathe raises serious questions about the business of selling stock-market “education” to retail traders. SEBI found that activities went beyond education and involved unregistered investment advisory/research services, including stock-specific recommendations, entry/exit levels and stop-loss guidance. SEBI has now directed a ₹546.17 crore refund to eligible participants and ordered ₹67.87 crore towards interest. The academy and Avadhut Sathe have also been barred from the securities market for 2 years or until compliance with the refund order. (Moneycontrol) If you paid money for the programmes covered by SEBI’s order, check your eligibility and claim the refund through the procedure prescribed by SEBI. And for every retail trader who suffered losses after paying for such programmes: Education should empower traders — not leave them financially destroyed. The bigger question is: 👉 How many retail traders actually benefited? 👉 How many lost money after paying for courses? 👉 Why were profitable outcomes highlighted while overall losses were allegedly not adequately disclosed? Retail investors deserve transparency, accountability and their money back where the regulator has ordered it. #AvadhutSathe #SEBI #StockMarket #RetailInvestors #Trading #InvestorProtection

HOW MUCH RETURN DO YOU NEED TO RECOVER FROM A STOCK MARKET LOSS? If your portfolio falls: • -10% → Need +11.1% to recover • -20% → Need +25% • -30% → Need +42.9% • -40% → Need +66.7% • -50% → Need +100% • -60% → Need +150% • -70% → Need +233% • -80% → Need +400% • -90% → Need +900% 💡 A 50% Fall Does NOT Need a 50% Rise to Recover. Example: ₹1,00,000 falls 50% → ₹50,000 To get back to ₹1,00,000: ₹50,000 must rise 100% 📊 Protecting capital becomes increasingly important as losses get deeper.
