When equity P/Es are high and moving lower, it’s usually a structural shift: multiple compression, rising rates, earnings revisions. That’s when non-correlated alternatives earn their place.

Insuring a medical office building takes more than one policy. Fire, wind, hail, water, theft, vandalism: usually covered. Flood & earthquake: usually NOT. Equipment breakdown, loss of rents & code upgrades: often need endorsements. Know your gaps before the claim.
