@SpitfireAudio My Dad is suffering from Dementia. We’ve all but ‘lost’ him. However, a burst of Glenn Miller brings him a little closer to us for a short while. During the past 12 months I’ve found myself playing my piano more. The ‘tech’ has taken a back seat!! It’s the music that matters.

@chensonmusic Ha!! Was just talking to my daughter yesterday about this film. I’ve seen it so many times. Looking back, there are a couple of scenes that I would have been shaking my head at!!!! 🤣

@NadiaWhittomeMP @DominicRaab As you let these words pour out of your mouth, do you think to yourself, “I can’t believe I’m spouting this shit!” Or are you really as stupid as you make people think you are? Just asking for a friend…..

@Lovely_RejoinEU @norsel1on @LBC @ABridgen All I see him doing is walking around my local town dressed up like a typical Tory boy. Thankfully, fairly soon, we’ll be rid of the lot of them. They couldn’t have fucked this up more if they’d won first price in the who can fuck it up most competition. 🥇

@_dankeen As a result, my M1 Pro currently sits unopened in a drawer until I find some time over Christmas to sort it 😔

@_dankeen I feel your pain. I usually use SuperDuper to copy my entire drive contents to the new machine. However, as this is a new architecture (M1 chip), I’m going to do a fresh download of everything. I’ll be able to purge some stuff I never use too.

@chensonmusic Like most people coming from an Intel machine, I’d love to know how RAM copes. I have a 2016 MBP with 16GB. I’ve just bought a MBP 14 Pro (base spec) which also has 16GB memory. I’m convinced a M1 (non Pro/Max) would do for most people. But the screen is gorgeous…… 😋

@middlesismonica @rickygervais I lost my Mum recently to Dementia. Her funeral was today (9th Nov). Although a sad day, she was 85 and lived a full life. I can’t imagine how it must feel to lose a daughter/son.
