@CorcaighO @GaelicStatsApp Potentially, hard to know with buffer! A side note on Sherlock, he took McCole into cork half a couple times, let a phase of possession happen and then swapped with a cork defender, leaving McCole stuck in cork half. Very clever and surprised more aren’t doing it with man marker

@GaelicStatsApp @CorcaighO They don’t have 4 players in their half, Sherlock interfered with play and gained an advantage, so I’d presume it should have been a free. Based on the below.

@GaelicStatsApp @CorcaighO I don’t know the exact rule for the buffer, but I thought it was for players not interfering. So if a player isn’t in his half and Sherlock plays the ball it’s a breach, if they swapped half’ and no ball there in play, it wouldn’t be an issue.

@CorcaighO @GaelicStatsApp There was one other cork player further back, I’d still have thought it was a breach due to the buffer only being for players not interfering with play. Sherlock steps out so I’d think that’s 1 of the 2 interfering. Very hard to police for officials though and it’s very close.

@evan_horain @SmallerFishGAA Haven’t defended any of the actions yesterday, was plenty more of both backroom teams involved, this made the tv so it’s getting all the attention. Plenty more than Jim could be in trouble. I think the Brennan’s suspension was way over the top too btw! Was a great game up to HT!

@SmallerFishGAA And the Meath Red was accidental! Clifford’s elbow was more intentional, wheather he meant to make contact with the head or not, it’s still a strike to the head.

@SmallerFishGAA I haven’t defended the player reaction at all, but as I’ve said Kerry were diving and looking to get players booked the whole first half, Morley was on a mission to get Murphy booked after every tackle. Either call it out both ways or don’t call it out!

@SmallerFishGAA Pretty sure that’s an elbow to the face. The end of the half happened because this wasn’t dealt with. Kerry players were going down all day looking for people to get booked/sent off. So either call it both ways or don’t call it at all!

@officialgaa slowly going to kill off club membership numbers with the use of ticket master! Every game, clubs get a limited allocation of tickets, so you either take a chance on your club getting enough tickets or you go through TM. @officialdonegal #GAA #PrelimQFs

@SmallerFishGAA You spent last year complaining about the same thing and asked for 3 or 4 to be held back to counteract it. They are now held back it’s man on man now, press out and chase the ball. Risk and reward, is that not what you and many others wanted?

@CahairOKane1 Never going to work at Club level when a ref turns up on his own. Tyrone Armagh had a 2pointer given as 1. Donegal Dublin, took fans roaring for them to notice 3 weren’t up. I think breaks that normally would result in goal chances are breaking down due to looking for 2pts.

@SmallerFishGAA County’s all over the country already struggling to get Referees at club level, goodluck getting ref’s who are able to keep up with all the proposed rules changes! And all the same people saying everything needs to change will be giving out about ref’s when they miss something!

@PaddyMcGill1985 @OwenieMcGarvey @RoryLarmer @CahairOKane1 If Donegal, Armagh & Derry were all to win would that mean, Donegal would only be able to get the winners of Dublin v Galway?
