It's a mistake to think that NATO support to Ukraine would be a provocation for Putin. He is provoked by the weakness, not by strength. There was no objective reason for Russia to invade Ukraine. Putin did it because he knew he would get away with it. Next move: attack on NATO

EU hat alleine gestern Gas aus Russland im Wert von fast 700 Millionen Euro importiert. Es wird zunehmend schwerieger unsere moralische Pflicht zu ignorieren, diesen Krieg nicht mehr zu finanzieren. Auch wenn die Kosten des Ausstiegs für Europa nicht klein werden.

Ich finde die Diskussion um das Ausschließen Russlands von SWIFT und die Folge, dass wir dann vlt zu wenig Gas haben, so abartig. Nennt mich naiv, aber wieso ist es relevant ob ich friere und gewisse Industrien stillstehen, wenn in der Ukraine gerade Menschen getötet werden?

Liebe Frau @ABaerbock, As someone who has worked in banking regulation and has an advanced degree in EU financial law, I have to point out that your argument is deeply flawed: there is a number of viable ways to make payments to such entities without resorting to SWIFT.

finds ja bei leuten die weiterhin posten in aufsichtsräten russischer firmen etc bekleiden viel verwerflicher. is ja nicht so dass das leute wären die kaum ihre miete etc zahlen könnten bzw sonst am hungertuch nagen...das is nur die gier
