Job openings -- both JOLTs and NFIB -- beginning to weaken, albeit from record high levels. Non-farm openings ↓ 605k m/m in June and ↓ 1.2mn from Mar's record 11.9mn. NFIB, on the other hand, down 1 point in June from May's 51, which matched last Sep's record 51. #economy #Fed

Euro downside is massive. Markets are trading recession risk in the US on par with that in the Euro zone, taking down the terminal rate for ECB and Fed hiking cycles by about the same amount recently. That's silly. The Euro zone is going into deep recession. Euro will fall a lot!

Only place in the Euro zone that was truly overheating before Russia invaded Ukraine is Germany, with wage growth really taking off (black). But that's all old news now. Germany and the rest of Europe are going into recession and ECB tightening is a mistake. Just don't do it...
