What happens when AI develops fluid intelligence? Today's AI already possesses more crystallized knowledge than any individual human. It can recall facts, write code, explain physics, and navigate an enormous space of human knowledge. But fluid intelligence is different. It is the ability to face a problem you've never seen before, discover the underlying rules, form a new strategy, recognize when your approach is wrong, and adapt. If AI reaches human-level fluid intelligence, the real transformation may not be that AI knows more than us. It may be that AI can figure out what neither it nor we already know. That would be a fundamentally different kind of intelligence. #AI #AGI #openai @mensa
