KOSPI Opening on a Gap down but nothing dramatic. Still holding the trendline and no sweep lower. We might no open on such a doom and gloom entry we were waiting for. This doesn't mean the AI fear and FOMC Raising hike fear wont kick by mid week. You could see that spike on open to trap trader and just start the selling. Smaller size trade are the rule right now.

$SPY $QQQ The CPI report This was not one of the hottest CPI’s ever Year over year was at and actually a few tenths below expectations on the CORE and the month over month was slightly hotter However, the probability of a rate hike went up to 88%, which often - unfortunately - mathematically is when the FED does what the market prices in This is all sadly dumb as fuck. If you understood monetary policy and economics on a deeper level then you don’t hike interest rates into supply shocks - ESPECIALLY GEOPOLITICAL ones I’m 100% correct anyone who argues doesn’t understand this on a deeper level level, the deep level people that debate this are Phillps Curver’s and slow in the brain The 5-year, 5-year forward inflation breakeven (the market-implied average CPI inflation rate expected over the five-year period starting five years from now) is 2.34% as of September 10 - that’s the backdrop with headline CPI and headline PPI ALL second derivatives of geopolitical OIL elevation, and some of it because of a few of the largest companies on earth driving up Cost Of Goods for the AI buildout and financing the heck out of it Hiking a quarter point and then hiking another quarter point won’t do Jack shit to the Strait of Hormuz. We will simply continue to have whimsy Oil prices as long as the Iran conflict remains - all we will do is hurt the interest sensitive parts of the markets which is smaller businesses and regular people whose things like mortgages and car payments go up more - WHILE OIL REMAINS HIGH WHICH MEANS GROCERIES REMAIN HIGH AS DIESEL PRICES REMAIN HIGH AS WELL FROM THE RUSSIA UKRAINIAN WAR So you have high gas prices, high diesel prices - which mean high grocery prices, and to help everyone out you make their mortgage price high, their car payments go up higher, and DO nothing to help their gas and groceries - DUMB DUMB DUMB Stock market wise, things that aren’t interest rate sensitive and growing regardless of tightening the economy from tightening monetary policy will be where money flows, aka the AI trade. Data centers don’t need Oil, and the large companies aren’t going to stop the second Industrial Revolution because the FED hiked 25bps I digress 😤 💜🍌🍌🍌
