@BlogJulianKomar I believe less than 1% of traders sit down and deeply study the market. Most just scroll through charts and draw some lines, but how in-depth do they really go, not much IMO. Deep dive uniterupted studies that analyse every apsect of your edge is what is required.

@BlogJulianKomar I don't disagree that those things you listed are issues for a lot of traders, but I believe there system/edge is the bigger issue. I consistently see the most well-known Fintwit traders who have been around for years post charts that have no edge IMO.

@AmeetRai Not really sure what you mean by psychology? The setups I trade form from the psychology of participants. So its just about identifying those setups and then pressing the buy and sell button according to your rules.

@RealSimpleAriel Well usually chop ends with a major shake-out or massive breadth expansion/catalyst/range expansion. I'd have no conviction getting involved before and would never be able to put on size and correctly trade the position.
