It's @GEOSEC2025 GEO week. Today's @G20_GEOGLAM session honours the legacy of Dr Shibendu Ray, our esteemed colleague and friend from the Mahalanobis National Crop Forecasting Centre in India, who passed away in May. Many touching tributes to a lovely man and great scientist.

Friends, it is with regret that we announce that our face to face JECAM and @G20_GEOGLAM meetings planned for Ottawa in June will not proceed as scheduled. We are now assessing the possibility of a virtual meeting or a face to face meeting in Ottawa in the fall. More to come.
