Submitting our #gencon wish lists is so different this year. We will be waiting for more event submissions. And be taking the convention at a leisurely pace.

My son got me Res Arcana for Mother’s Day. I’ve been playing on Board Game Arena. He took all of 5 minutes to skim the rules tonight and absolutely clobbered me. Good times.

I wasn’t sure how to store the squash we picked from the garden. Turns out, I didn’t need to figure that out. They won’t last thanks to @foodwishes Loaded Butternut Squash Cordon Bleu.

Perfect timing for @foodwishes tomato soup and crispy cheese toast recipe since our garden harvest was very productive this week.

Buckled down and made a real dinner tonight. @foodwishes Salisbury steak, cheater mashed potatoes, spinach balls, and raw veggies from our garden. The gravy was utterly gorgeous in the pan.

Me: Today we're all cleaning the house. 8-year-old: But there's a quarantine. Me: We can clean the house even when no one is coming over. 8: Is that a new thing?

We played a 6p game of Just One via Zoom with players in 3 locations. One location on an iPad, one on a computer, and one ona phone. It worked pretty well!

Alright, whoever's holding a "One Quiet Night" card, now would be a great time to play it so we can regroup and methodically plan out our next moves.

I finally downloaded Terraforming Mars this evening. I haven’t played on a board very many times so I think my Green scored quite respectably. Now I should go thru the tutorial and see if there’s an undue button. I “oops, didn’t mean to do that” more than once.
