I am going to be making a full curriculum for our programs this summer. One that a brand new coach could follow with a new team. There are many curriculums out there for higher level teams but not so many for lower level ones. Attached are the ages I will make them for.
Many curriculums out there are too complicated for new coaches, or go advanced way too quick. My goal is to make something very easy to understand but also develops them at a rapid rate. Ive made one every year however I haven’t done one where I plan out every single practice.
One big struggle we have is the teams I coach, or the ones with my really good coaches develop very well, but teams with newer coaches somewhat stagnate. Part of that is simply experience etc but some of it are just bad choices in activities. My goal is to fix that.
With all that said I am not perfect by any means. I haven’t been satisfied with what I have made each year. If any coach is interested in putting heads together and making 1 together I am game. @TexasCoachMike @jeramye @CoachesLetsChat @FCDrewCampbell @jKokkoris8 @Everyone

And will take any suggestions / resources others have as well

If we all put them together and figured out a good macro/microcycle for each age, we could really make a good one. Wouldn’t be that hard either. Just start a shared drive and we can comment, add to, what is being worked on.
