In UP Minorities too dont vote for Congress nobody votes because the party is weak. But that doesn't mean UCs and Minorities will never return to the fold.
@stefdhrhsf Never liked him earlier. I believe consecutive losses brought him on ground. India will always be socialist however under congress as seen in past capitalism too grows fairly. Earlier UC of UP used to vote for Congress and now everything has changed. Hence congress into caste.

Sorry for the generalization but speaking in terms of macro trends the online Bahujan/OBC discourse especially the vocal Ambedkarite handles routinely attacks Congress and Rahul Gandhi far more aggressively than anyone else

@bigchinaffleck They can if they want to, don't know what is stopping them. They gained in 2009 won 21 seats in UP. Raj Babbar even defeated Dimple in by election. It is possible again.
Look at social media almost every staunch Congress supporter is either UC or a Minority while the Bahujan and OBC ground ecosystems spend most of their time attacking Rahul Gandhi.
UCs and Minorities remain the anchor of INC across India which is why the party cannot afford to antagonize UCs.
