So any of my fellow #VMware laborers know how to go about quiescing a VM filesystem through the API? Bonus points to you if the answer is some #Python :-) The desired end result is a "consistent" VM filesystem (all FS buffers flushed) created by a VMFS snapshot.

One of our SEs needed a demo environment ASAP to show off vSphere. Only issue is the servers were running Ubuntu. A little bit of #PowerShell + @NebulonInc magic and 15 minutes later, he is running a fully built vSphere environment. Heck yeah. Love me some automation!
