Opening from cursor SSHd into the VPS doesn't actually sound that bad. AI workflow rabbit hole... : 1. I open html docs in a browser on my macbook (VPS is connected with tailscale). My agents create them off the md files. Mostly just a better visual. Edits still go to md files and they always update the html (I prefer this) 2. If you're editing these files manually a lot I'd look into an agentic editor. Have not yet done this but would be my next go to in the list if I felt the need. 3. If you're using a terminal multiplexor (tmux, zellij), they have issues with rendering quickly which is why I avoid using terminal for any file viewing work. @superlogical working on fixing this. If it was fixed, I'd still prefer #1. It works fine most of the time but when it doesn't, you start wondering about other solutions.

1. Ability to block content based on username and posts both case-sensitive and case-insensitive (the not interested just doesn't work and it's not good UX to click it so often anyway). Ex: I don't want to see posts from anyone with "parody", 🇷🇺, 🇺🇦, 🇮🇱, 🇵🇸 in their usernames. I want the ability to block "OF" but not "of" in post. I want the ability to just block "thread" across the board, if it can include other unicode variations that'd be great as well. 2. Ability to enable certain languages for content. I don't know want arabic, spanish, and japanese content ever even if a video is language agnostic. 3. Ability to block content based on image or person in image (OPs get favorability in algo if they upload additional info for their videos or images or this can be added automatically later if posts reach a threshold interaction worth the compute to get this.) Blocking JD Vance images / "man is fake back there" girl on airplane would be great. How many videos of "STAKE" advertisements do I need to watch before I can just block it? Blocking news outlets or the view would be nice too. Any text in a video transcribed and blockable = win. 4. Transparency over the algo. Or suggestions from X itself on how to make it less "stake" ads or JD vance memes. 5. Value threads again over long form. Long form is just harder to track as you scroll down. Threads automatically organized this for you and were some of the best content X had in the past. Transparency over why this was done would be interesting, especially given the goal of unregretted time on the platform which I'm not sure is a goal anymore based on what I see now.
