@kingli560043@aleabitoreddit@tsazeng They do have ongoing orders every month, just not PM’d and btw Aeva and Sivers both PM’d the same day at exactly the same time 20/10 @ 07.00 CEST/ CET
Hardly a coincidence in my view..
Don't forget, former $AMKR veteran David Clark is joining $SIVE as VP of Engineering for Photonics on October 31.
He brings over 12 years of experience at Amkor, particularly in advanced semiconductor packaging and scaling production.
With $NVDA now aggressively expanding advanced packaging and CPO capacity, I find the timing of this appointment extremely interesting.
$SIVE is positioning itself for the next phase of commercial growth.
$NVDA today announces capacity agreements with substrate, packaging, testing and optical engine suppliers.
- Substrate agreements with Ibiden, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Unimicron to expand by 2.5x
- $AMKR to increase advanced packaging capacity by more than 300% by the end
$SIVE is reaching a fundamental inflection point: the laboratory development phase is officially transitioning into scalable, mass-production revenue.
Today’s launch of production orders for the strategic LiDAR program dramatically reduces the company’s operational risk.
Shipments of CW DFB lasers and optical amplifiers in Q4 2026, ahead of scaling up in 2027, will kick off monetization of the program, which has a potential lifetime value of $53–138M.
In the automotive LiDAR market, which is growing at 28% annually (reaching $3.8B by 2030), this will provide SIVE with a predictable stream of rolling orders.
But as an analyst, I see a deeper signal here: validating production capacity against the stringent standards of the automotive and robotics industries mitigates manufacturing risks ahead of the main cycle in 2027—the supply of lasers for AI data centers.
When the secure cash flow from sensor technology aligns with the shortage of laser capacity in AI infrastructure, the market will be forced to reassess SIVE’s multiples.
Currently, the EV/Sales (FWD) ratio stands at 26.6x, whereas it peaked at 86.7x in June.
Last major $SIVE disclosure was 100M CW DFB laser capacity Q4 2027. And a new foundry partner (that makes 2 including Win Semi).
Expected $JBL revenue coming in H1 2027 (with lasers for Jabil's 1.6T LRO scaling up H2 2027).
There's channel checks along the way like CIOE where Sivers was engaged with Chinese pluggable makers + laser ASPs being raised.
70mW/100mW ranges were the most tight to Chinese pluggable makers, which was surprising.
Biggest industry read through was $LITE selling out into 2029, making agreements for 2030, and having hyperscalers pay for capacity expansion for 2031.
I don't think anyone has enough information to do any sort of accurate modeling for $SIVE like you can for $AAOI given they don't release product breakdown + capacity targets by quarter.
The 200mW NPO lasers Sivers is sampling is likely different ASP than your 70mW lasers shipped to pluggable makers. And your custom CPO lasers are different pricing too.
Like all sampling/qualification players from $AEHR to $AAOI back in 2025, usually the risk/reward comes in whether qualifications convert and what new customers they have, which is always a risk.
In a bull case, if $SIVE comes online with 300m laser supply (2:1 implied ratio, already has "tremendous" supply online from likely US fab) during a structural shortage.
Pluggable players like $JBL, 6 other vendors.
$GFS as the reference design laser for their CPO/NPO platform.
Your minor players vendors like $POET, $AEVA and other players end up scaling.
And all the other custom products they hinted they were working on in the past for CPO years back.
I think the probability that they cook is higher since there's so many ongoing qualifications during a bottleneck.
We've already seen ownership changes from Swedish investors to US/International retail from $SIVE shareholder disclosures.
My guess is that trends institutional from retail before US listing next year amid the market correction.
Think people forgot institutions have already financed their expansion, which was a 700M SEK round 100%+ ago (multiple times oversubscribed).
And that $SIVE uses primarily external fabs, so it's not the same as a lot of the major financing concerns affecting Neoclouds.
Anyway, up to management execution, I'm not running Sivers so no clue what other companies are working with them now, whether it's Cambridge or some other US player like Semtec.
TLDR:
- Just need to wait for earnings for more disclosures around qualifications + partners, only so much public can guess from channel checks and supplier mapping.
Not quite the same as $LITE CEO where you can see the guy on Fox news or Bloomberg interviews every week (which is a good thing)
Bullish — $SIVE $NVDA $AMD
CPO just went from “it works on a rack” to “it’s running inside a live server.”
Wiwynn + Ayar Labs + GUC showed it at OCP 2026: GUC ASIC package + Ayar TeraPHY optical engines, lit by SuperNova, with real-time telemetry proving the optical link is up and holding under thermal drift.
Ayar is backed by both $NVDA and $AMD. Both sides of the GPU war already own a piece of this engine.
SuperNova runs on $SIVE DFB laser arrays.
They’ve been inside it since 2022. $1M order in 2023. Partnership expanded in late 2024 specifically to prepare for high-volume manufacturing. The ramp window they guided is now.
This is the stack moving into deployable, manageable systems.
$SIVE sits in the critical laser layer of a dual-GPU-camp optical I/O path.
Revenue is still small. The exposure to the bottleneck is not.
$SIVE is the picks-and-shovels name most people still aren’t pricing for volume.
We are long and bullish. NFA!
PS: Thanks @carrioresearch for sharing.
$SIVE is hiring a dedicated Head of Investor Relations in Silicon Valley, reporting directly to the CEO.
The location and reporting line are what stand out to me.
Management is committing resources to building relationships with US investors, close to the semiconductor companies, customers and capital that matter to its business.
$SIVE also spells out exactly what it wants investors to understand: its exposure to AI factories, space and satellite communications, and modern warfare through photonics and wireless technology.
The role specifically requires someone who can explain how the technology translates into a business.
That suggests management sees a gap between what $SIVE is developing and how the investment community understands its commercial potential.
Alongside the preparations for a potential US listing, this looks like a deliberate effort to broaden the shareholder base and establish stronger institutional relationships.
Those relationships take time to build, making the decision to invest in them now particularly interesting.
A hiring announcement cannot establish future fund buying or a higher valuation.
But it does show that reaching US investors is becoming an operational priority with direct CEO involvement.
For me, that strengthens the longer term thesis.
If commercial execution follows, $SIVE could have both a stronger business and a much broader audience of investors capable of assessing it.
Yeah just read a bit more into it... Special thanks to *Bloomberg* for adding fuel to the fire.
You can't hate mainstream media enough wow.
"Hock Tan stated that the market had misinterpreted the company [OpenAI] because its underlying fundamentals were strong.
Investors selling based on a single short-term data point were essentially no different from people gambling in a casino."
He was pushing back against negative interpretations of OpenAI's revenue... but somehow Bloomberg spun that as a hit piece on AI investing?
I'm impressed
We're excited to announce that Sivers Semiconductors will be hiring a dedicated Head of Investor Relations in Silicon Valley, reporting directly to our CEO.
At Sivers, we are delivering breakthrough technology and products in photonics and wireless communications to support three industry super cycles, namely AI factories, Space & Satcom, and Modern warfare.
Our focus markets, customers and investors have a heavy and influential presence in the US. At Sivers, we want to strengthen our relationship with this community and globally.
The chosen candidate will be someone who can connect the dots between semiconductor technology, business strategy, and the investment community, and help more US and global investors understand the Sivers story.
Stay Posted for more news on this front as we finalize our hire!

I DO think the OPTICAL stack re-rates hard before EoY.
You only need a couple of obvious things to align, and when they do, the repricing will be violent.
Let me know if you want the full breakdown on this!

$SIVE is starting to build something that looks much broader than a single customer ramp.
WIN Semiconductor is already confirmed as a high-volume DFB laser manufacturing partner, while earlier $SIVE material pointed to additional foundry relationships in both the US and Taiwan.
Management has since indicated that another external manufacturing partner can provide substantial additional capacity and that new designs can be brought onto that platform relatively quickly.
The identity of that partner has not been disclosed.
But with WIN already established in Taiwan, the earlier references to US foundries are becoming increasingly relevant.
What matters most is the timing.
$SIVE is expanding manufacturing options before several optical programs are expected to move from qualification into volume.
$JBL is developing a 1.6T LRO platform using $SIVE DFB lasers, with production orders expected in H1 2027 and a broader ramp targeted for H2 2027.
And $JBL is only one part of the picture.
Six additional pluggable manufacturers are already evaluating $SIVE technology, including three that have progressed into alpha sampling.
At the same time, $SIVE is pushing further into higher-power laser products for NPO, CPO and other next-generation optical architectures, including 100 mW arrays and 200 mW single lasers.
$GFS adds another distribution channel through silicon photonics reference designs and the SCALE ecosystem.
@AyarLabs has already integrated $SIVE DFB arrays into its SuperNova light source, giving Sivers exposure to Optical I/O and multi-wavelength architectures well beyond conventional pluggable optics.
The supply backdrop makes this even more interesting.
CIOE channel checks indicated tight supply around higher-power CW lasers, particularly in the 70 mW and 100 mW range, while $SIVE appears to be opening discussions with Chinese pluggable manufacturers as well.
That could give $SIVE access to another major customer base at the same time as independent laser supply becomes increasingly valuable.
The company is now building exposure across several layers of the optical stack 👇
Jabil and other pluggable manufacturers.
GlobalFoundries silicon photonics.
Ayar Labs and Optical I/O.
NPO and CPO.
SOAs and emerging optical switching applications.
Additional external foundry capacity.
And potentially a much broader geographic customer base than the market currently associates with $SIVE
$SIVE The US listing story is getting harder and harder to ignore.
What started only a few months ago as an evaluation of a potential Nasdaq dual listing is increasingly looking like a real corporate project with a defined timeline, dedicated infrastructure and very concrete preparation behind it.
Yesterday’s update is another important step.
Sivers is proposing Ernst & Young as its new auditor and explicitly connects that decision to its preparations for a potential US dual listing, US capital markets experience and SEC reporting requirements.
That matters.
The company is actively changing parts of its financial and reporting infrastructure to make itself compatible with the requirements of the US capital markets.
Look at how quickly the language has evolved.
In April, $SIVE said it was evaluating a potential dual listing.
Then the company started preparing historical financial statements under PCAOB requirements.
In July, management referred to its dual listing objective.
In August, $SIVE said it expected to complete all necessary preparations during the first half of 2027.
Now we have a proposed auditor change where US capital markets experience and SEC reporting capability are explicitly cited as reasons.
That progression is extremely important.
Evaluation.
PCAOB preparation.
Internal reporting upgrades.
A defined H1 2027 preparation timeline.
A new auditor with US and SEC experience.
Its photonics opportunity is expanding rapidly.
The company is building toward significantly larger CW laser capacity in Glasgow.
Its relationship with $JBL creates exposure to the next generation of AI data center optical interconnects.
Its technology is positioned around external laser sources, silicon photonics, optical I/O and the broader shift toward higher bandwidth and lower power connectivity inside AI infrastructure.
At the same time, $SIVE continues to build exposure to US defense, satellite communications and advanced semiconductor programs.
That means a US listing would not simply be a cosmetic change of trading venue.
It could place $SIVE directly in front of the investor base that already understands and actively values AI infrastructure, photonics, optical connectivity, semiconductors, defense technology and next-generation data center architectures.
That investor base is dramatically deeper in the United States than it is in Sweden.
And this is what makes the potential timing so fascinating.
$SIVE currently expects the necessary US listing preparations to be completed during H1 2027.
The major commercial ramp in photonics is expected to become increasingly visible through 2027.
Glasgow capacity expansion is targeted for late 2027.
The company is positioning itself for a much larger revenue base beyond that.
In other words, $SIVE could potentially arrive on the US market just as the fundamental story becomes substantially easier for investors to see.
For a small Swedish semiconductor company operating directly inside some of the most important technology transitions of this decade, that matters enormously.
Companies do not prepare PCAOB financials, upgrade reporting systems, establish a H1 2027 preparation timeline and select an auditor specifically for US capital markets and SEC requirements for no reason.
For me, the US listing is rapidly developing from an interesting optionality into one of the most important potential catalysts in the entire $SIVE story.
