@synaptic_wisdom @tomhfh On your argument, no government would ever be able start any infrastructure projects because they won’t be finished being built until after the next election when the government of the day may no longer be in power.

@DJM1865 @PippaCrerar That is a good point but unless each local authority identifies what it costs to run each individual care home, which I doubt they will because that would be very resource heavy for them, each care home will probably be given the same amount of funding per placement .

@roberthenryjohn If you only receive the state pension you should receive 100% relief on your Council Tax Bill and if not but still on a low income, you should qualify for a reduction. It’s worth checking if you haven’t already.
