@CUBuffsFootball @JosephWQB1 @Isaac_kawika WHY does Brennan Marion make the game so difficult for his players??? A read option 1st call of 2nd half???? Honestly, so tired of No-Go Go. Do something normal once in a while.

ATL will be a better team late 2nd Q and into 2nd half. These early start times and FINALS games are N🚫T a great mix. Dream look half asleep tbh. GSV needed this to jump on em but still can't score enough.

The way I look at Angel’s development, Smesko isn’t necessarily teachin her how to do things she’s never done before. He’s polishing skills that were already there and helping her put them all together. Everything we’re seeing Angel do now, you can literally see it in this highlight. Angel was a guard in high school and played point forward at Maryland, where she earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year, All Defensive Team honors, and several other accolades. She was also Maryland’s leading scorer her sophomore yr, averaging 17.8 PPG ahead of Ashley Owusu and Diamond Miller. When AR transferred to LSU, Mulkey needed her closer to the basket, and bein the team player she is, Angel embraced her new role, adjusted her game to what the team needed, and DOMINATED. When you spend yrs playin a different role and aren’t consistently utilizing certain skills, naturally, those skills get rusty. That doesn’t mean they were never there. That’s why I view what Smesko is doin as refinement, not reinvention. He’s helpin Angel sharpen her fundamentals, regain confidence in different areas of her game, and become a more complete player. There’s absolutely nothin wrong with acknowledging Angel’s development. That’s what player development is supposed to look like. But some of y’all have weaponized the word “improvement” to push this narrative that AR never had any offensive skills or basketball ability to begin with. There’s a difference between developing skills and rediscovering, refining, and expanding skills you already possessed. Smesko isn’t creating Angel from scratch. He’s helpin unlock more of the player she’s always been.

We know the #AtlantaDream is an extremely talented basketball team, but what do the players do when they’re not playing basketball?? I asked them to share with me one of their teammates hidden hobbies or secret talent and they are soo good. #WNBA #WNBAFinals #doitforthedream

Angel Reese’s historic postseason debut continues tomorrow as she and the Atlanta Dream look to take a 3-1 lead in the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries. Reese has spent her first postseason rewriting the record books. She already holds the WNBA records for the most rebounds, steals, and blocks by a player in their first playoff run. She also became the first player in league history to record a double-double in each of her first three Finals games, joining an exclusive group of three players with a 30-point, 15-rebound Finals performance and becoming one of just two players to record back-to-back 20-point double-doubles in the Finals. And she may not be finished making history. Reese is just 45 points and 18 rebounds away from joining A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and Napheesa Collier as the only players in WNBA history to record 200+ points and 100+ rebounds in a single postseason. The third-year superstar has been at the center of Atlanta’s championship run, and with the Dream just two wins away from their first WNBA title, she’ll look to keep adding to an already remarkable postseason. A win tomorrow would put Atlanta ahead 3-1 and one victory away from making franchise history.
