🧵 | Detectives are continuing to investigate the disorder that took place in Whitehall on Wednesday 31 July. They are appealing for the public's help to identify the men in the photos in this thread 🔽

We get asked what we’re doing to follow up on incidents from last week.❔ While today’s march was forming up, officers spotted a man who was wanted for being abusive in Parliament Square after last weekend’s protest. He was arrested for a public order offence & is now in custody.

“All units standby, units to assist now on the ‘I’ India Grade, suspect seen in the street holding a firearm, units to assist please.” “Met Control, from Metro Alpha.” “Go ahead Metro Alpha.” “This is now a declared firearms incident, local units to RVP until Trojan units arrive on scene.” When the Trojan (Armed Response Officers) arrive on scene, they see the firearm below. 👀 They’ve got a few seconds to decide if it’s real. 😦 Can you? 😬 Because it is real, just made to look very much like a toy. #ThinBlueLine 🤷🏼‍♂️🚨

Our star fundraiser @KeyurKiwi has raised over £10,000 for @ImperialNHS after he was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer. On #WorldCancerDay we joined him as he presented a cheque to the staff that saved his life. Amazing work Kiwi!
