@TerribleTerry83 @Google @baseballhall Posey is only one, but probably not first year. Zimmerman should stay on ballot a few years, but will fall short

@lockedonwizards Fantastic win to start off 26/27, Keefe needs to find others off the bench to absorb mins. AD & Trae playing 34+/game is not gonna end well

@BaseballATeam @Ajay_W @jaysonst MLB needs to fix the Dodgers media rev sharing deal they gifted them when McCourt declared bankruptcy. LAD are playing by different rules than any other MLB team. Cap or no cap - this is the biggest injustice to 29 other teams

@MarkZuckerman I’m super excited. True baseball is gonna be played, where solid pitching, good defense & timing hitting/offensive strategy should win. I think it’s gonna be one of the best WS in last 20 years (similar to Cubs/Indians in 16)

@natsfanatics_ Was the contract worth it? No, based on what he did under the contract. But did he deserve the contract…100% yes. No one can predict the future & he earned his payday. Unfortunately it just didn’t work out for him or Nats.

In the last few months: The Orioles owner said he bought the team because all of his friends who had sports teams made more than he ever could in private equity The Padres sold for $3.9B, 63% more than the previous record The Angels then sold for $4.0B, beating the Padres record So why then are billionaires lighting money on fire by bailing out other billionaires from the apparent financial ruin of owning a baseball team? It's because they're all making billions in appreciation and teams like the Yankees can sell just 16% for $2.6 BILLION (MLB of course waived the 15% cap lol) with an additional $1B in tax-exempt revenue bonds to refinance debt in their other business ventures Seriously, who would pass up on an infinite money glitch like that? I'm begging you all to realize owners just want a cap to make accounting easier. They're lying about competitive balance to create a narrative that is only in place to win them cost certainty

@PerryShirzad @rjdio316 @krissyk262 @timporell @JakeSchoemann @PolymarketSport So, in essence it was $1000 for 10 tickets. 9 regular season tix, and a 10th redeemable for one ticket at any time in the future. Sounded more like pay $1K & be able to go to any game, any time, in the future (but that wouldn’t be not smart finance from one of the best run orga)

@northsiden0tch Put Colorado in AL West, move TB to AL South - add Nashville to NL South. Yes, 2 expansion teams in NL - but only way to make all divisions geography make sense while maintaining historical AL/NL placements. Yes, Rockies shift, but only 1 & im sure they’d be fine w/o LAD/SF/SD/AZ

@JimBowdenGM The biggest issue of all is LAD’s sweetheart media/rev sharing deal that no other team has, as agreement when McCourt declared bankruptcy. Fix that. Allow smart teams to continue being smart & win. forbes.com/sites/maurybro…

@rallysquirreI @Dawg69420___ @calebnoble08 @drewdamn87 Or, players just leave for Nippon League in Japan. If owners lock out players, couldn’t they just go work somewhere else?

@rallysquirreI @Dawg69420___ @calebnoble08 @drewdamn87 Owners understand they need the players. If players were truly organized, they don’t need owners. Players can become owners for true rev split. Play in independent league stadiums & start a new league (see Bananas). Would take time, but owners need players more
