Unpopular opinion: Vibe coders are shipping better products than people who actually code manually.

I remember the first meeting where the team pitched the idea of putting compute in space - exciting idea! Today's successful launch with our partner @planet prototype satellite shows how far we've come...and how far there is to go. Thanks for the lift, @SpaceX, another spectacular booster landing too🚀

what's the first thing you check when an agent says it's done? mine is the file list. did it touch something I didn't ask for?

Yesterday at the White House, leaders from across our industry came together to sign the White House Accord on Super Intelligence. The principle is simple: the companies building this technology have the primary responsibility to develop and deploy it safely, and to be accountable when they fall short. The Accord reinforces that responsibility with robust internal controls, independent external evaluation, and board level oversight. Super Intelligence offers an extraordinary opportunity to advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity. The future of Super Intelligence will be shaped not only by what it can do, but by the confidence it earns. By building with ambition, rigor, and responsibility, we can help ensure this extraordinary technology expands opportunity and improves lives for generations to come.

Closing the laptop only works if the agent already has a real environment. Not a cold empty sandbox every run. Reusable repo + deps is the boring unlock. What is the first job you'd actually trust after you log off?

You can finally close your laptop now and your agents will keep working. Codex cloud environments are here. Reusable environments mean less setup and faster starts, with your repo, dependencies, scripts, and settings already in place.

honestly, Tab autocomplete saves me more time than Agent mode. Agent is great for big changes. Tab just quietly helps all day. which one do you actually use more?

if you were starting as a dev today, would you learn to code without AI first? I'd say no. no employer expects you to type it all by hand anymore. but you still need to read every line it writes.

one thing I still don't let an agent do is commit. it can plan. it can write. I read the diff and I push. what's the one thing you never hand over to an agent?

i'm setting up two vector stores for one RAG system and i think it's worth it. pinecone is the hot path. upload a file, it should be searchable in seconds. bedrock knowledge base is the permanent copy. direct ingestion is async though, and i honestly don't know yet how long it takes before a doc shows up in search. that's what this week's pilot is for. so every upload goes to both. postgres decides which one answers. the pinecone copy only gets deleted after the KB copy comes back in a real search. not just because bedrock says indexed. yes, that means embedding everything twice. anyone else running a hot tier in front of bedrock KB, or am i overbuilding this?
