The ANC-led government’s fallout with the US isn’t about Trump — it’s the result of years of ANC-driven, anti-Western foreign-policy decisions. Stop blaming AfriForum and Afrikaners. The real reason is: • The Lady R incident • Lamola & Ambassador Rasool calling Trump a “white supremacist” • Open alignment with Russia, China & Iran • ANC engagement with Iran & pro-Palestinian blocs • ICJ case accusing Israel of genocide • Motion to downgrade Israel’s embassy • Renaming the street outside the US Embassy — to honour a pro-Palestinian terrorist • Joint military drills with Russia/China • Condemning Western sanctions while backing Cuba • AGOA risk created by reckless diplomacy Foreign policy has consequences. The ANC chose ideology — South Africans now carry the cost.
South Africans care about a few pragmatic things - notably their jobs, welfare of their children, crushing crime and living in a nation with a goal. Yet, I cannot think of a political leader who speaks about these things. When last did a political leader talk about slashing taxes or making it easier to buy a house? Let alone have a plan to remove criminals off our streets? Such a wide open goal that no one is shooting at?
The fact that I am taxed the same way as everyone else, but can't get access to certain opportunities provided by the Government is wild. Never dreamed the day would ever come when I would sponsor my own exclusion and crowdfund my own disqualification. Taxpayer by day. Self-funded outcast by night. You're welcome.
