@grumpyclownpiss @JasonKPargin That's exactly why you don't get it. The people using it don't know/don't care about the context of the movie

@CredenceClearoj @JasonKPargin Exactly. All the confusion comes from people trying to fit the context of the scene into the tweets. But, chances are, no one using it even saw this movie

@AbcAbc347433 @Nanashi61696 @MatthewTheStoat @alright_r78832 Most people who play video games aren't gamers tbh. "Gaming" as a hobby is still very niche. Most of the people added to the audience for mainstream games over the years are just in it for some easy entertainment - more like watching TV than a hobby.

@sdkflmalskdf @reset_by_peer Most people don't code or design and will never need to. "only AI" matters not because of Human vs. AI, but because of AI vs. existing software. Most of the mass-appeal consumer use cases are already handled by solutions that are deterministic and more secure.

@AbcAbc347433 @MatthewTheStoat Most cover-based shooters are AAA games made for a wide audience (like Uncharted or GTA), and wide audience means most of them are going to be casual gamers who prefer more forgiving mechanics. The cover-based shooters that aren't mainstream usually DO have some version of this

@tragic_endings_ Where are we even getting the impression that "everybody wants a village?" To me, it looks like people just want to be left alone with their phones and their treats.

@InFinitTy45 @BrandonPerna I mean, it's a pretty big deal if 15 yards are being handed out to offenses this inconsistently

@empatheticcain Ledger's Joker was a take on The Joker. Nearly ever Joker since has been a take on Ledger's Joker

@jakehteach @lxeagle17 They'll just come right back in 2-4 years, unfortunately. Having 2 senators for every state and capping the size of the House of Representatives have doomed this nation

@Brixwoof @lxeagle17 @AspenMIPol Yeah, it feels like if there's a problem that requires (1) short-term economic pain and (2) more than one midterm election cycle to fix, the American government is literally incapable of fixing it.

@owonn01 @BowTiedPhys Caffeine withdrawals last for a single day if you quit cold turkey. Or you can spend 2-3 days weaning yourself off and get rid of the dependence with no withdrawals at all.

@sc_cooper7 @billykimber4200 @wi11fr0sco @SoftlyAugust The defender already had a full head of steam and had started the tackle motion before he could've possibly reacted to the initiation of the slide
