@carrielamarr @CarolineHirons I never denied she did nothing, but again…. Writing “no Morphine” won’t help & isn’t advocating. If your the worlds biggest, why not return & contribute.

@carrielamarr @CarolineHirons You’ve clearly been hurt by the NHS due to the poor care your mother received, but there are ways to advocate for patient from both the hospital side & the family side. A family writing “no Morphine ” is not advocating.

@carrielamarr @CarolineHirons It’s also difficult to not be angry at situations like this, when you’ve had a traumatic situation like your mother was victim too…. As of yet no one has told me how Caroline’s action will actually help

@carrielamarr @CarolineHirons Speak to the Matron, file a PALS complaint, ask for a daily update from the junior DRs, request an MDT, discharge against medical advice. The list goes on, complaining on Twitter & basically writing “no strong opioids” above a patients bed will do zero to help the patient.

@carrielamarr @CarolineHirons Drawing on boards above patients beds does not & will not address the serious issue, as you said yourself the NHS has staff shortages, they are trying to manage the wards not play games with patients families.

@CarolineHirons Let’s just hope she’s not in pain at some point, there’s probably more effective ways of communicating your concern with inappropriate Morphine administration; speak to the Matron, contact PALS, request an MDT.

@danny_mercer Worked as a newly qualified Nurse in Blackpool, all nurses were trained in venapuncture, cannulas, male/female catheterisation etc. moved to a hospital in Yorkshire told “oh no we don’t that as 5’s” 😂

@AkbaniUmair There’s no IC reasoning behind these “rules” however most hospitals don’t want you in scrubs/uniforms outside of the hospital/hospital property as they don’t want you being identified as thier employees for a variety of reasons….
