Democrats want Washington to dictate your childcare choices, your kitchen appliances, your small business decisions, and your local voting laws. But the one thing Congress shouldn't address is runaway violent crime in D.C. itself? Dems are just trying to duck a debate on crime.
Our nation’s capital doesn't belong to a few soft-on-crime local politicians, it belongs to the American people. Murders and carjackings in Washington D.C. are soaring and the liberals' response was to reduce sentences even more. Time for Congress to follow the law and step up.
@LeaderMcConnell :You have the power to publicly over the news to respond to all of this and you sit in your office and do nothing.
@LeaderMcConnell Time for you to go… I tried for a long time to give you the benefit of the doubt. You don’t know the difference between compromise for small political gain….verses Principle. You’re all rhetoric and virtue…folding like a cheap suit when it gets tough.
@LeaderMcConnell @SRCC Then why are you soft on Hunter’s crimes?
@LeaderMcConnell You know what that means, let’s send another 10 billion to Ukraine!
@LeaderMcConnell Want to choose what children learn in public schools. Everything should be an OPTION in public schools. There should not only be choices in schools, but also choice in what classes their child can take. If I want MY child to learn more comprehensive black history etc. CHOICES
@LeaderMcConnell Where was the Republican Party when babies were slaughtered at a Uvalde Texas school?
@LeaderMcConnell Reduced sentences was the response of the DC City Council, elected by and accountable to the American citizens of DC. Republicans decided to substitute their judgement for the people of DC who want to see if change can improve results.
