Sometimes I think allistic people are the ones that should be pathologized. I'm in my 40s and still think about that time in HS a bunch of girls got mad at me when our friend (120# max) said she was fat and I told her flatly that she wasn't fat. Still not sure what I did wrong.

Pam Bondi's war on "hate speech" is very concerning. Hate speech is free speech. (see National Socialist Party of America v. Village of Skokie, 432 U.S. 43 (1977)) There are very limited exceptions but going down this thought police route is insane.

One of the most practical reforms we could make to US healthcare is requiring there only be ONE biller per physical location. They should have to handle billing for sub-providers. The "SURPRISE! You actually owe money to three companies you've never heard of!" is so ridiculous.

Some days it feels like most people have a beeswax candle and I have a firework. Others say, "Ooh! Look what you can do!" And sure, for brief moments it can be great. But have you ever tried to actually get stuff done by the light of one firework? I can't really recommend it.
