Underrated reason why parents should send their kids to the best college they get into. Better the school, lower the chance they fall into bad influence & do stupid shit. At an Ole Miss/Bama, your kids will be surrounded by functional retards for four years. Pedigree matters.

Bro it’s called a Roth IRA, it’s so sick. You just live like a povert for 50 years, then one day you wake up and your cock doesn’t work but you get to open your phone and see a big number, and the best part? It’s all tax free.

@gmonie619 @financedystop This is why you’re poor

I might not get everything right, but at least I'll give it to you before the move happens. If you've followed long enough you know my shit aint front loaded and its usually at lows

@XMoney thank youu

$BULL Read through the entire earnings call transcript. Here's my view: This Q2 transcript is even more bullish than the press release, because management gave important color that explains why the quarter was strong and why they believe the post-PDT volume lift is durable. Q2 was not just a one-time trading spike. Management is arguing that PDT removal structurally changed Webull user behavior, especially in options and smaller active-trader accounts. If August and Q3 monthly data confirm this, $BULL may deserve a much higher valuation than before. 1. PDT is the main story — and management says it is durable Anthony opened the call by saying the June 4 PDT removal was the “defining event” of the quarter and directly contributed to higher trading volumes and record results. He said Webull enabled qualified customers to place unlimited day trades from day one. The most important part came in Q&A. Management said the benefit is coming from two areas: First, existing users are trading more actively. Second, users who had split activity across multiple brokers are now consolidating more deposits and activity into Webull. Anthony specifically said Webull saw a “considerable amount of new deposits” from accounts that previously looked like they were limited by PDT behavior. Even more bullish: he said July showed the higher activity was sustainable, and August was tracking even stronger than July. That is huge. 2. The “20% uplift” might have been conservative On the Q1 call, Anthony had said low-end expectation was around a 20% transaction increase over time from PDT removal. In this Q2 transcript, Rosenblatt’s Chris Brendler asked whether they are already through that medium-term benefit, and Anthony basically admitted he may have sandbagged that 20% figure. He said: “There might have been a little sandbagging in that.” Then he added that this is “the new environment for trading,” July showed sustainability, and August was still showing the same sustained level of activity. That is one of the most bullish statements in the entire transcript. My interpretation: management believes the PDT effect is not temporary. They think the baseline level of activity has permanently moved higher. 3. Smaller trades = better take rate This was a very important nuance. Anthony said after PDT removal, users are doing more smaller day trades, taking “smaller scalps” with lower profit/loss thresholds. He said this is healthier for Webull because the number of actual trades within the volume has risen significantly, which raises take rates / PFOF received on those orders. This matters because total notional volume alone does not tell the full story. If users are placing more tickets/trades per dollar of volume, Webull can monetize better. That is why options and DARTs are so important. 4. Q2 finally proved operating leverage Q2 revenue was $198.8M, up 51% YoY, while adjusted operating profit hit $62.6M, with a 31.5% adjusted operating margin. H.C. Wang emphasized the operating leverage story: revenue grew much faster than adjusted operating expenses, and Q2 was Webull’s most profitable quarter to date. This is the opposite of Q1. In Q1, the worry was: “Can they grow without spending too much?” Q2 answered: yes, if activity scales and marketing normalizes. 5. Marketing normalization is a major positive Marketing was one of the biggest worries after Q1. On the Q2 call, H.C. said marketing spend started to normalize as a percentage of revenue and that adjusted operating expenses declined 6% sequentially from Q1, primarily because marketing normalized. Later in Q&A, he gave even better detail: about 40% of Q1 marketing expense, and to a lesser extent Q2 marketing, was related to prior-year promotions being amortized. Those prior aggressive asset-match promotions are rolling off, so marketing should normalize further over the next couple of quarters. However, he also clarified that marketing probably won’t fall below Q2 levels; for the rest of the year, they expect it to be similar in “quantum” to the first half, not lower than Q2 but not higher than Q1. My read: Q2’s margin level may be somewhat high, but the Q1 margin problem looks less scary now. 6. August commentary was very strong This transcript gives important real-time Q3 clues. Anthony said: July options volume stayed steady. August was trending around June levels. August was looking stronger than July. August margin balances were trending toward all-time highs. That is extremely relevant for Q3 expectations. This suggests Q3 could remain strong even though July customer assets and equity volumes dipped. My updated Q3 base case would now be higher confidence around: Revenue: $195M–215M Adjusted operating margin: 25–32% Adjusted operating profit: $50M–65M+ If August and September hold, Q3 could look very similar to Q2. 7. Options market share is a big milestone Anthony said Webull reached a top-five position among all retail brokers in options for the first time. That is a major credibility point. This supports the argument that Webull is not just another small brokerage app. It is becoming a serious active-trader platform, especially in options. That matters because options traders are usually more engaged and more valuable than casual stock-only investors. 8. International/APAC is becoming real Webull now has about 810,000 international funded accounts, licenses across 35 markets, and trading activities in 18 markets after launching in Spain, Argentina and Colombia. APAC customer assets are now above $5B. The Pi Securities acquisition in Thailand sounds strategic because it gives Webull high-quality active accounts at low CAC. Anthony described it as immediately accretive to APAC AUM and a faster way to gain active accounts than organic growth. This is important because Webull’s story is shifting from “U.S. retail brokerage” to global active-trader infrastructure platform. 9. Institutional business is still early but meaningful Institutional AUM exceeded $1.4B, about 5% of total AUM, with most institutional clients outside the U.S. Webull is also expanding institutional product offerings into futures and prediction markets. Management also admitted Meritz and Korean platform ramping took longer than expected, but they said they are ready to “fire on all cylinders” by the end of August with several large Korean platforms. This is a watch item. It is promising, but not fully proven yet. 10. Crypto is tiny today, but upside optionality is huge Crypto revenue was only about $2.25M in Q2, just over 1% of total revenue. Anthony said any uptick would be immediately accretive. They are also working on coin-in/coin-out functionality. So crypto is not driving the quarter. But that also means there is upside if crypto activity returns. Same with prediction markets: they are now around $5M–$6M per quarter, up 71% QoQ. Neither crypto nor prediction markets is the main thesis yet. But they are useful upside levers. My overall view after transcript The press release already looked bullish. The transcript makes it even more bullish because management gave confidence that Q2 strength is not purely temporary. The strongest points are: PDT changed user behavior structurally. July options stayed strong. August is stronger than July. (!) Smaller/scalping trades improve take rate. Marketing is normalizing. Margins proved operating leverage. Webull reached top-five retail options position. APAC/international growth is becoming material. Crypto and prediction markets are small but optional upside. The biggest remaining risks: Trading activity can still be cyclical. Funded account net growth is modest. Marketing will remain meaningful. Institutional/Korea ramp has taken longer than expected. GAAP profitability needs to remain consistent. Bottom line This transcript is thesis-confirming. Before Q2, the bull case was: Webull might benefit from PDT and show operating leverage. After Q2, the bull case is: PDT is already working, activity is staying elevated, marketing is normalizing, and Webull can generate 30%+ adjusted operating margins when revenue scales. That is a major change. If Q3 confirms August strength, I think analyst price targets may need to move higher.

BREAKING: President Trump is weighing a cut to capital gains taxes ahead of midterm elections, per Bloomberg. There has not been a major cut to capital gains tax rates in the US since 2003. This would have massive implications if implemented.
