@danidonovan (3) moments of anxiety better. If you learn to breathe better most of the time, you'll find breathing through the anxiety moments much easier as well. There is some research that links poor breathing with ADHD, and the more I learn about it, the more I reckon it is right!
@danidonovan (2)... really helped me so much. It helped to reduce my anxiety, stress and sheer madness. It got me sober. It gives me a way to manage stress. It helped improve my asthma. Learning to breathe properly will enable you to take better breaths all the time, and to manage those....
@danidonovan I'm a yoga teacher, with ADHD (recently diagnosed), asthma, an ex smoker and alcoholic, and historically VERY poor breather. I am convinced these things are all related. Learning to breathe properly, taking time to increase my lung capacity and my awareness of my breath...... (1)
@ClaireVWODI I haven't had coffee since the 29th Dec (one cup that day), and I feel so much better for it! I cleaned my entire house (serious decluttering mission, which may have also been driven by ADHD meds!), and have had better, if not more, sleep since. Stick with it, it's worth it!
