WARREN BUFFETT ON WHY INTEREST RATES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT NUMBER IN INVESTING The 10-year Treasury hit 5% today for only the second time since 2007. When Buffett said this in 2017, it was at 2.15%, and he explained why that made stocks look cheap. "If you look at the 10-year government at 2.15, that means you're paying 45 times earnings when you buy that bond. And the earnings aren't going to go up." "Interest rates are to stock prices what gravity is to matter. If interest rates were nothing and they're going to be nothing forever, you'd be buying stuff that would yield you one percent or two percent." "If interest rates on the short rate are 21%, like they were in 1982 under Volcker, you can look at a stock at six times earnings and say, well, that really isn't that attractive. That's what drives valuations." At 5%, the 10-year is 20 times earnings. The gravity just got a lot stronger.

President Trump said the U.S. is going heavy into nuclear energy citing major safety advances. He argued nuclear is now both reliable & cost-competitive for powering the economy. That money supports the entire nuclear stack: • Upstream uranium miners & fuel processors like $CCJ, $UUUU & $LEU that supply the raw fuel • Midstream reactor & SMR builders like $SMR, $OKLO, $BWXT & $NNE that turn fuel into capacity • Downstream utilities like $NEE, $VST, $TLN & $CEG that convert that capacity into grid power

Ray Dalio: "Global monetary order is breaking." Dalio thinks the US and the allies are losing trust in one another, so central banks don't want to hold the US bonds. This is why commodities are skyrocketing, and it's not going to reverse anytime soon. His advice? Buy gold.

For most of the last few years, markets rewarded almost any risk. That phase is over. In my latest commentary, we look at why inflation is fading as the main story in 2026, how AI is reshaping the landscape for growth and labor, and why we think the odds now favor investors rather than gamblers: blackrock.com/us/financial-p…

This is a big deal for Opendoor. Buying Homebuyer.com and bringing mortgage fully in-house isn’t a side quest, it’s a core unlock. Mortgages are the choke point in housing: – slow – fragmented – margin-rich for intermediaries – terrible UX for consumers $OPEN just internalized it. By owning mortgage origination + growth: • Faster closes → higher conversion • Lower customer acquisition costs • More control over pricing, timing, and approvals • Better unit economics per transaction • More data flowing through the platform And Dan Green isn’t a random hire, he’s been in the mortgage trenches for decades. This isn’t “we’ll figure it out later,” it’s execution now. This is how Opendoor evolves from 1.0 to 2.0: End-to-end homeownership OS Buy. Sell. Finance. Eventually insure, title, service, and tokenize. This is another brick in the long-term real estate platform story. Let’s go!

We’re going to fix homeownership and that includes mortgage. To that end, I’m happy to announce our acquisition of Homebuyer.com. Dan Green is joining Opendoor as Director of Mortgage Growth. Dan founded HomeBuyer.com, and now he’s bringing that expertise

It’s the end of the year, another absolutely crazy year for that matter. That means we get to prepare to do it all again…just differently. 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵’𝘀 𝟮𝟲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲. citriniresearch.com/p/26-trades-fo…

BREAKING: President Trump is asked where he wants interest rates to be next year. His response: “1% and maybe lower than that.” You don’t own enough assets.

A good investment strategy is not necessarily the one that shows the greatest profit when things go well, it's the one that shows the least loss when things go wrong
