A critically important change may be triggering in Stocks: Yesterday's sharp decline broke the S&P's longest low-Volatility streak in years. Many similar breaks ended with some big Volatility spikes & Stock declines. This week's break is *timely* AND seems related to the many cumulative Risk Factors I previously highlighted: • My Core Equity & Options Models were massively overbought and turning DOWN. • Bonds were positioned for a major breakdown. • Tech sentiment was extremely stretched and vulnerable to a shakeout. • Traders were extremely Short the Dollar and the mid-July reversal was the ideal setup for a Dollar squeeze rally. • Twitter feedback has been mostly flippant & arrogant – despite many popular Stocks making little progress over the last several weeks. As long as the above primary Risk Factors remain ACTIVE: • I'll be watching Core Model signals closely as they develop over the rest of the year. • My primary focus is to advise & communicate with clients of all types – via reports & calls at these important points. If I can help you, let me know. • A small fraction of my work is posted here on Twitter – have been busy this year with some personal things to resolve, so haven't spent as much time on this site. But hope to be more active at some point. In summary, something is changing in the market... • It's important to listen to this message. • Carefully consider and study scenarios for what could lie ahead. Every day matters. • Volatility creates opportunity. • Waiting for the dust to settle can be difficult – but a great opportunity could be on the other side. Good luck.

@MacroCharts Can someone explain why any of this matters if AI trading is driving the exchange? If algorithms are running the show, isn’t this all just theater ?
@MacroCharts no one will want to hold on to cash. banks are not safe. Neither does Bitcoin. so i think most people will hold inside
