WATCH: Top student in Azerbaijan delivers emotional speech after being barred from school for wearing hijab: I scored 335 points. I don’t have a single B on my report card. Is this the respect I get? The girl, visibly upset, challenged school officials directly: Have I ever brought shame to this school’s name? Have I ever done anything wrong? And now you’re telling me I can’t enter the school. Either take off your hijab or don’t come at all. Why should I have to give up my religion?

I am pleased to announce that we have been granted a United States patent on our invention titled “Method of Making Thermoelectric Materials,” by the US Patent and Trademark Office. This patent represents an important milestone in my research journey in advanced materials science and sustainable energy technologies. Thermoelectric materials offer exciting opportunities for converting waste heat directly into electricity and enabling solid-state heating and cooling technologies. Advancing the methods used to fabricate these materials is an important step toward improving their performance and expanding their practical applications. This achievement builds on my broader research interests in thermoelectric materials, computational and AI-driven materials science, semiconductor physics, advanced materials synthesis, and renewable energy technologies. I am particularly grateful to King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, the assignee of this patent, for the research environment and institutional support that have contributed to my work. I welcome opportunities to work with academic institutions, research laboratories, and industry partners across my areas of expertise, applying my skills and experience to advance impactful research, innovation, and technological development.

A young Nigerian @inventorkhalifa has developed AI-powered smart glasses designed to help blind people move independently without relying on a cane or guide. 👓 The glasses combine AI, sensors, and GPS to detect obstacles, understand surroundings, and provide location information. If the user gets lost, their location can be shared with a caregiver via WhatsApp or email. The project is now being further developed with AI and voice capabilities to communicate with users and describe their environment. FG should support our very own young Khalifainventor x.com/inventorkhalif…

Education will never disappoint those who prioritise it as an escape route to poverty and life-changing opportunities. For those from humble backgrounds with no connection or godfathers, education is that leveller that closes all gaps. It is that one tool that changes the fortune of someone forever. There have been many cases of how education has been used to change the fortune of an entire family via one best student that excelled in school. If you are still in school, try your best and make sure you graduate with a good grade. You will never regret it.

🪖 This is the reality of the job. A Nigerian soldier in the field dusty, tired, but still focused. Sitting beside a tank, calmly handling the small things while the mission continues. No cameras. No applause. Just duty. This is what commitment looks like when no one is watching. This is the quiet strength that keeps the line holding. To every soldier out there right now: We see you. We respect the grind. For God and for country.
