Forgiving those who sin against you should become a natural almost spontaneous response to believers who are constantly worshiping God for the mercy & forgiveness you’ve received. If you’re not consistently celebrating your forgiveness maybe forgiving others becomes tough.
If you know you’ve messed up don’t try to justify yourself or hide it. Satan’s accusing voice will give you no peace & you won’t feel God’s comforting presence. Genuine repentance leads to mercy, forgiveness & restored fellowship with Jesus. Self justification can’t compete.

Know today that you are in God's story. You matter to God. But ultimate meaning won't come from putting the spotlight on you. Your life will have the greatest significance when you choose to make it about the One who welcomes you into his never-ending story.

According to Paul truth is not only to be known but to be “buckled around your waist”, righteousness not only to be received but guarding your heart from Satan’s fiery darts. Eph6. No point in knowing the truth if you don’t fight. I don’t see repeated repentance as a weapon.
Look forward to glorifying Jesus this Sunday as another person is bapitized & shares their life changing story. 2 Cor 5:17.
Fascinating! Paul urges us to make the most of the time because the days are evil. Eph5:16. He then enlarges unexpectedly …be Spirit filled, singing, making melody & giving thanks to the Lord wholeheartedly. I hope you’re using the time well.
The modern clichés “be true to yourself” or “follow your heart” are so inadequate especially when your “heart” & your “self” are the problem.

In these days of tests remember to - 'Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don't drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourself regular check ups. You need first hand evidence not mere hearsay that Christ is in you. Test it out! (2 Cor 13:5 MSG)
In the creed we say Christ is "of one being with the Father". It sounds so technical, actually it has the deepest pastoral significance. It obliterates any idea that behind merciful Jesus lies a dark 'God'. No, the arms-wide love of Christ crucified IS the arms-wide love of God.
