BREAKING: Saudi Arabia cancels oil shipments to Europe after drone attacks damaged its key East-West pipeline.

Energy bills going up 25% in January. State pension getting taxed. Council tax going up every year. Diesel at £2 a liter. Food shopping prices through the roof. Salaries frozen. What is the point in even trying anymore ?

We're now being conditioned to accept £2.00 a litre for petrol as normal - you know, because of the 'cost of living crisis' and 'war'. At the same time fuel companies make record profits. Something ain't right.

In the 24 months since Labour came to power, we've seen; • Employer National Insurance increased from 13.8% to 15%. • The employer NI threshold cut from £9,100 to £5,000. • Income Tax and National Insurance thresholds frozen until 2031. • Capital Gains Tax increased from 10% and 20% to 18% and 24%. • Business Asset Disposal Relief increased from 10% to 14%, then 18%. • Investors’ Relief increased and its lifetime allowance cut from £10 million to £1 million. • Carried interest taxation increased and moved towards the Income Tax regime. • Dividend tax rates increased by two percentage points. • Savings-income tax rates increased by two percentage points. • Property-income tax rates increased by two percentage points. • Most unused pension funds brought into the Inheritance Tax net. • Agricultural Property Relief restricted. • Business Property Relief restricted. • Inheritance Tax thresholds frozen for longer. • The non-dom regime replaced with a more extensive residence-based system. • VAT imposed on private school fees. • Business-rates relief removed from private schools. • Stamp Duty increased on second homes and buy-to-let properties. • The Furnished Holiday Lettings tax regime abolished. • Pension salary-sacrifice benefits capped at £2,000 before National Insurance applies. • The Cash ISA allowance cut to £12,000 for most under-65s. • A 22% charge introduced on interest from cash held inside non-cash ISAs. • Restrictions introduced on transfers and cash-like holdings within ISAs. • The Energy Profits Levy increased and extended. • Investment allowances for oil and gas producers reduced. • A new Vaping Products Duty introduced. • Tobacco duties increased above inflation. • Vehicle Excise Duty increased for many new cars. • Electric vehicles brought into the Vehicle Excise Duty system. • A new mileage tax announced for electric and plug-in hybrid cars. • Air Passenger Duty increased. • Climate Change Levy rates increased. • Plastic Packaging Tax increased. • A new Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism introduced. • Making Tax Digital extended to more landlords and self-employed people. Together they represent one of the biggest transfers of wealth from households and businesses to the Treasury in decades - with no noticeable improvement in public services. Whether you're a business owner employing staff, a parent paying school fees, a farmer planning succession, an entrepreneur building wealth or simply someone trying to save for retirement... You keep less of what you earn. You keep less of what you invest. You leave less to your family. Death by a thousand cuts is becoming tax policy.

Reform and Nigel Farage have finally made a response to our offer in the Daily Telegraph - I will go through their four conditions… The Reform Chairman, Lee Anderson, has said Reform will not step aside in any constituencies. Reform should ‘always’ be on the ballot paper. Meaning that Reform plan to run in every seat, even if there is an arrangement. This is not a constructive start. I have been realistic. Clearly, the whole point of any arrangement would be not to divide the electoral force. That would mean certain Restore Britain candidates standing aside to ensure a sensible and pragmatic approach to our voting system. If Reform are not willing to reciprocate in any constituencies, any at all, the offer I have made is entirely redundant. They have also said we must endorse Farage to be Prime Minister, and allow the failed Conservative ministers to again be part of a future cabinet. Contrary to reports, I have never said that Reform must dump anybody. That is not my place to do so. It is their party, it is entirely Reform’s choice who they run to be MPs or employ - it is putting these same ministers who failed Britain into a future cabinet which Restore Britain has helped to empower that I take issue with. Restore Britain will not be responsible for handing Nadhim Zahawi, Nadine Dorries and others some of the most powerful jobs in the country. Farage and Reform have also said that Restore Britain must outright sack Charlie Downes - putting a young Christian man out of work, just as he is looking to build his life and start a family. That is simply not how I operate. But I want to be clear - if a sensible reciprocal arrangement can be found on our proposed policy platform, we would be willing to stand our Restore Britain candidates aside in certain seats in order to defeat the left-wing alliance. For any political party, that is a big step to make - country before party. Reform have just outright rejected doing the same. If that position continues, then this whole exercise is futile. A deal will mean give and take on both sides. I’ve been in business long enough to know that. Our original offer was focused on policy, their response is about personality. After all of the bad blood, if we focus on personality and ego, we will get nowhere. That much is obvious from the last seven days. Our papers on economics, energy, deportations, policing and much more show exactly what can be delivered - properly considered policy must be central to everything. The place to start this negotiation is on policy. Find common ground, sort out the clear differences, build on that and go from there. Restore Britain remains open to good faith talks where both parties understand the brutal electoral reality we are facing.

Starmer resigns - he has been a truly disgraceful Prime Minister. I do not believe him to be a good man or a patriot. He has deliberately and rapidly accelerated the destruction of our Britain, of our home. History will not remember him kindly, nor should it. I sat in Parliament, looking him in the eye, listening to him attempting to justify his decision to block a national inquiry into the mass rape of young British girls. I will never forgive him. For that, and so much else. What comes next, I do not know. Whatever that is, Restore Britain will be ready to offer the British people a democratic route out - a better way, the only way. But Starmer is gone. And that is a good thing. Enjoy it.
