Great to be invited to the #InnovativeAudioDescription workshop with @mysightnotts @NTUArtandDesign and @Nottm_Contemp today. We discussed different approaches to describing #art to #blind and #PartiallySighted visitors, and even recorded sounds for a more immersive experience.

Northumberland SLC had a great time at the #Alnwick Volunteers fair this weekend. They highlighted their work across the region to improve accessibility for blind & partially sighted people, with Mayor Geoff Watson offering his support for upcoming projects in the town.
We had a wonderful day at #Alnwick’s volunteer fair. We networked with other organisations and met members of the public to detail the vital work we do. It was great to speak with Jeff Watson,the mayor of Alnwick who has offered his support regarding work within the town.
