Another action packed weekend at Greenhill YMCA on our Regional Cadet Adventure Camp. Over the past two days, our cadets have taken part in a range of adventure activities, from archery to zip-lining and wet bouldering ⛰️ 🏹 🧗 A great time had by all 💚 #SJANIYouth

Today was a special day for me. I graduated from @stranbelfast and @QUBelfast after 4 years of study with a Bachelors of Education. It was an amazing day and I was pleased to be able to celebrate it with my family.
Today was a first in my @sjani_youth life as I joined the DofE team for the 2nd day of a Bronze expedition. Hopefully the first of many more to come.

This evening I started something new. A Mental Health First Aid Course. Mental Health is something that impacts everyone. But so few of us have the tools to help when someone is in need. Looking forward to the follow sessions to help equip myself regardless of my role on that day
As part of my work with @sjani_youth I focus on youth voice and participation. This survey is one way in which we give your amazing young people a voice to talk about how they engage with our youth programme and how we can improve it. Helping create a programme that is vibrant.
As part of our commitment to Youth Voice, and delivering a vibrant programme we are wanting to gather the views and opinions of our young people. The 2023 Cadet Experience Survey is now live. Cadets can get more details from their Unit Managers and RYVF Unit Representative.
A fab weekend with 28 future leaders! A privilege to be afforded the opportunity to support this course again.
Developing future leaders. 28 Cadets from across Northern Ireland had a great weekend in the north west, learning about teamwork on their young leader’s course. A big well done to all the young who took part and a massive thank you to the Youth Team for delivering this course!
The youth team celebrated our amazing youth programmes last night at the Spring Ball 🪩 with nearly 200 young people and youth team volunteers from across Northern Ireland 💚
And of course we had a bit of fun too!
Yesterday evening saw the @sjani_youth Spring Ball @GalgormResort almost 200 of our amazing young people and youth leaders helped make it an amazing evening. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to maybe holding the event again. Thanks to the rest of the team who helped!

I am fortunate enough to have had this youth leader as one of my youth leaders. Along with knowing the family. I am touched by how much this you their leader and their team worked to make this possible.
Just heard from a youth leader how their group reorganised an event within days so a dying parent could see their child get an award. Volunteers moving heaven and earth for the things that really matter. Heroes walk among us ❤️
