As you can probably see, I've been posting lighter stuff recently. I had been posting about DWP cuts and the Assisted Dying Bill, but it started to impact on me deeply. I started to retreat in towards myself, as I felt the world closing on me. I hadn't the strength to talk about all the dangerous changes coming for disabled people in the UK. I had constant headaches, stomach pains, back pains, anxiety attacks, sleeping problems and had no motivation to enjoy the fun things in life. I smiled out towards the world, but @UKLabour destroyed me on the inside. I had to step back and find my centre ground again, and find the peace within myself. Accept that that I'm not carrying this burden alone and it's not up solely to me to affect change. Hence the silly videos and jokes of late. They were more for me, than for anyone else. I'm not ready to step back into the advocacy world fully yet, but I'm more at peace now with myself and I'm excited for life. Thank you for listening and being my friend. I'll be back being a thorn to the establishment again soon. ✊️
