@SoloAssassin45 Sony pays their guys to handle it. Hackers jailbreak outside of their day job I wouldn’t put money on PlayStation running out of steam here

@paedzofficial @grok just out of curiosity, how fast does it take someone on average to truly jail break a PlayStation version build compared to the time it takes for PlayStation to patch fix it? Assuming they’re only adjusting for the jailbreak?

@ymnis_v1 It's always funny to me how people flex AI assistance with decompiling and jailbreaking PlayStation. They never consider that Sony has the resources to develop their own agents to track jailbreaks online and produce fixes with equal, if not better, efficiency.

It baffles me how so many people on X feel like this is a binary situation. There are equally compelling reasons to own a PC as there are to own a console. Nobody has to destroy their PC to own a console. If you can only afford one, that is a whole different discussion, but this behavior where the other side is reprehensible for existing is just weird for me to see.

@oliver_drk I’ve discovered recently that it’s really easy to fact check when Google exists reddit.com/r/NintendoSwit…

@Willsturdy_ AI argument aside, it's a very simple pattern that can be countered with any kind of uppercut counter. Or a solid jab with decent to ok timing.

@indie_xbox @FuuTop1 That is entirely fair Shoot, I'm probably going to do the same. But I'm not a huge fan, I played the original trilogy and fell off since then. Couldn't really get into Gears 4 If they don't continue with a full remake of 1-3, I probably wouldn't be too bothered by it.

They're playing different games. Netflix is constantly putting content in to keep its 326 million people actively paying for the service. With that overhead, they can regularly keep new shows coming in, which are consumed in a binge or episodically as they see fit, in order to keep engagement. 30 million people on gamepass is not paying enough to keep the lights on, and what most people do when an Xbox first party drops is temporarily get Gamepass at less than half the cost in store just to play the campaign and bail when the month is done. They are not releasing at a nearly fast enough cadence to support the engagement they need. This is why they've been on a firing spree since Asha came in. They were constantly in the red and Satya is no longer willing to pay as he realized Phil had a losing strategy.

I think the Hilarious part of all this #gearsofwar drama is that this won’t even be the worst of it We’re only hearing from the people willing to spend extra to get it early The real fun starts on Oct 6

Lol, nice little misdirect there, mention the PS2 and focus on it when I brought up the Dreamcast Touched a nerve there? Ps2 selling for dvd support and games aren’t mutually exclusive, both can be true Meanwhile you haven’t really argued against any point I made, I guess you just want to keep fantasizing about Sega going off console because they got bored or something Whatever, I’m done

@oliver_drk to be fair, Nintendo was praying pretty hard for those game keys to take off. All the consoles see physical media as a liability, especially when someone rips a disc and distributes the ISO
