Comfort matters...a lady living with dementia who was scared but didn't know why. She didn't know what to do. I invited her to come with me to a quiet space & she cooried in to me. We sat like that until she felt a bit safer, colleagues tea & cake. All was that little bit better.

Spiritual care is still not widely understood, so many people I speak with, attribute 'spiritual' with 'religion' and although it may play a part, it is far from reflecting the whole. Perhaps we need more formal study into spirituality to highlight it's profound importance?

Another week and another new shop….this beauty is in Wrexham. I think Greggs are opening more shops than us, but we must be in the running to get in the top 5 for new shops for UK retailers!
Rufus' first (self) walk on the beach! Why do we take him to the beach so often? Because the salty air from the sea is really good at clearing thick mucus that people with CF have. So good in fact, it's one of the treatments with a nebuliser. But we prefer a happy walk instead!
