@MattHancock How do you feel your Kay Burley interviews are going? Yesterday’s was even better than your laughing fit during the height of the pandemic, if I may say so. #toryemotionalintelligencedeficit

@vinod_d007 @Keir_Starmer Totally agree. @Kier_Starmer has shown some real steel over this. No dithering. He’s unequivocal - Labour won’t tolerate anti-semitism, or even a whiff of it on his watch. Good decision.

@DominicRaab How about: To be clear: If I’d given any thought whatsoever to the question I’d been asked, I probably wouldn’t have said something so ridiculously insulting.

@DominicRaab Yes, we do need to come together. So how about not starting by criticising the movement’s chosen symbolism? Incredible comments from someone in your position, sir. #ToryEmotionalIntelliegenceDeficit

I think it’s time to turn Matt Hancock off & then on again.

Privileged white man announces that Black Lives Matter movement’s choice of symbolism doesn’t meet with his approval. Priceless @DominicRaab! Been a bit busy ‘picking up the slack at home’ perhaps? Not quite on top of your game as a result? #ToryEmotionalIntelligenceDeficit

Councils will face a choice between cutting core services or bankruptcy unless Boris Johnson takes responsibility. #PMQs

@Keir_Starmer Oh how this country has waited for serious and considered opposition in the Commons. Thank you for your calm and statesmanlike approach to the important job of holding this shambolic Government to account.

@theresecoffey @MarcusRashford And all of that good work undermined in your initial response to @MarcusRashford. #ToryEmotionalIntelligenceDeficit

@theresecoffey @MarcusRashford Your initial response wasn’t that welcoming though... Tweeting that you share @MarcusRashford’s passion for this falls short. I’d wager that Mr Rashford’s done more for the most vulnerable in a few days than you’ve done in your life. Pathetic. #ToryEmotionalIntelligenceDeficit

@MarcusRashford Fantastic work on the free school meals issue. So good to see a young player balancing the privilege inherent in his position with such a great sense of responsibility. Brilliant role model.

Just watched BBC’s Sitting In Limbo. I don’t know how @theresa_may and @AmberRuddUK sleep at night. What a disgrace!

Listened to @BBCAnyQuestions tonight. Great to hear that @grantshapps has loads of non-white pals. Just look around the cabinet table, you’ll see. The Tories are all over progress in this country. 😂😂 Amazing that he felt he needed to point this out in 2020. So patronising.

Imagine where Jacob Rees-Mogg would be today if he’d been born without any bought or inherited privilege. Now imagine what his employment prospects would be if he’d publicly presided over today’s catastrophe in a ‘normal’ job. Now imagine Diane Abbott had been in charge of it...

Good to see the Health Secretary enjoying himself today. He’s had a torrid time of it of late. #EmotionalIntelligence

@NicolaSturgeon @scotgov I was naive in this tweet looking at the trail that has followed! I’ve realised my ignorance about the devolved politics of Scotland. I’ll start doing my homework ;) NS ‘presents‘ herself more convincingly than Johnson to my eyes was my point, I guess.

@NicolaSturgeon @scotgov I wish we could have a leader south of the border with the capacity to appear so normal and yet so competent.

@Andrew_Adonis I always remember the broad message of New Labour at that time about the marriage between compassion and aspiration. Labour needs to remember the political power of discussing aspiration in my opinion.

@Andrew_Adonis Absolutely. Always appreciate Mr Blair’s interventions around current issues. Still an outstanding political communicator and still speaks for those of us feeling abandoned in the centred ground in recent years.
