🇫🇷 UPDATE: Emmanuel Macron will speak publicly after today’s closed-door security meeting at the Élysée and take questions from journalists. No time has been set yet, with the meeting still underway and potentially lasting for some time. This should give us the first official readout on what France’s political leaders were briefed on regarding the rapidly deteriorating international security situation. One to watch closely.

Today is a monumental day for peace. This legislation was deeply important to my brother, Lindsey, and I’m grateful that it achieved such a wide coalition of support on the House floor.
