@anima_xii @GhostyyyBabeee I'm in the UK so it's not a cost thing here but when I go to hospital & explain my symptoms to a doctor 9/10 they say I'm wrong - about my own body! So I just don't bother going to hospital to wait for 8+ hours to be told I'm a liar. 😡

@tuckertbnc @hell_line0 Yeeeeah, they just write all that down for funsies, no doctor ever looks at it - they prefer to make you repeat your entire medical history every time you see them. In my case it's regular hospital trips explaining the same 33 year history of chronic conditions - drives me mad!

The money itself could never be a barrier to work but the fear of losing it due to being reported for fraud because some ignorant ableist person doesn't understand disabilities aren't always identical looking every day could certainly be a worry.

@BlumbergJa18989 @Matt_Pinner Except that's not how weight loss works unfortunately, we don't get to choose where the weight comes off & if she's a natural pear shape then as much weight will come off her bust as comes off her hips & bum so her proportions will still be pretty much the same!

But if they said they were 4" taller than me & turned up shorter than me I would take everything they said with a pinch of salt because they lie easily & for no reason!

@Mindgoop @LuxMeaMundiAM Nah, it's because they're utterly backlogged & need to massage the numbers. 50k people are getting extended = good news; some only by days or weeks though so a bit of a farce in those cases. Great for those with substantial extensions though!

@saniyafatma1278 Never cut? Or never even trimmed? It'll just get thin & unhealthy at the bottom if it never gets trimmed at all so that would be a huge shame. 😢 My hair is to the same point on me (so more inches because I'm taller) & is comfy but what does *she* want? It's her hair!

@Shrink_at_Large It's good for those with useful extensions & I'm extremely happy for them. Pretty useless for the great many people who only have gained a few days to a couple of weeks. It's basically all about making their numbers look better than they are, but if people benefit, great!

@Smyth_Chris Even those of us on the highest amounts of disability benefits are living on less than minimum wage, none of which we can afford to *swap*; I can barely cover my bills as it is... & I eat one child sized meal a day, if I remember to, so I have almost £0 food bill unlike most.
