Something I think about a lot is how hatred of benefits claimants is just acceptable hatred of disabled people
I’m tired of the Tories targeting benefit claimants. I’m tired of explaining to people who should know better why it is both immoral and illogical. I’m tired of the ease with which the rich and healthy target those who weren’t blessed with their advantage. I’m tired.
My grandma was my dear friend and role model. She passed away today at 93. The meanest thing I ever heard her say about anyone was "it's easier for me not to think about that person too often." You know these days will come, but knowing that doesn't manage to make them easier.

A paid carer doing min 35 hrs a wk would receive £364.70. That’s 10.42 p/hr Those carers given status unpaid (& all admin, advocacy etc.) receive £76.75. That’s £2.19 p/hr Only, they don’t just do 35 hrs a week they often do 90 plus hrs a week. That’s 85 p/hr. Why is this ok?

My grandma was my dear friend and role model. She passed away today at 93. The meanest thing I ever heard her say about anyone was "it's easier for me not to think about that person too often." You know these days will come, but knowing that doesn't manage to make them easier.
My son badly door dinged a Tesla. I knew it had side cameras and possibly sentry guard recording. I pretended I hadn't noticed, sat in the driver's seat, and worked out how to angle my reverse to avoid my plates being recorded. Success! But I now hate the future.
