@MakoFukasame Real, the zero trust discussion has been more talked about this week than in the last year. At this rate we will splinter the internet into nodes once again 🤣😭

I literally couldn’t get into the gunpla main store in Tokyo in March this year because they needed a Japanese number for a lotto entry. It was the middle of the week, i was ready to drop 1k if not more on some exclusive kits. I legit have to buy gunpla via third party upcharge cause of no direct stores. Just another example of give up right 🤣

@helldivers2 Yeah its embarrassing how the community can just improve the game faster than your own output to farm players for microtransactions. Probably won’t be far from custom servers so someone else can drive the galaxy map into something fun.

@summit1g Problem is the different streamer groups/communities is jocks vs nerds and dont even pretend it isnt. Is why you seeing the crashout for a second year, cause it is seperate that dont mix at scale. The first year was funny, 2nd year is bait to drive traffic to the nepo awards.

@ALegendaryDrops Id argue at this point it’s abandonware like it was in the dos days. My gut is there is a decent percentage that has owned multiple copies of the same game over the years and has the right to format shift.

@Grummz They probably know there’s no going back or excuses to have with halo having more development in recent than the entirety of 343 ownership. Legal would never end and AI will only get better over time.

Best part, it’s fine if AAA wants to go cloud only locked down device no mods. They’ll never reach the heights of what is already there in the backlog. And then players will reward indie and AA when they build games that respect the players. Getting a used ps5 to homebrew and mod seems smart now even with its cost vs a diy pc.

@gnukeith The problem isnt replicating the app, the problem is if your somewhat successful how fucked you get by existing regulation/laws and enter a whole world of unlubed pain when you’re responsible for content on the platform.

@pawsvtuber Do business contracts have no place? Or do they demand “trust me bro” and won’t sign a contract that holds them legally liable for non-delivery?

@Izkimar Genuinely surprised its all running in the browser. I'm still having my poc's get built within godot for now. The gameplay felt good and the mechanics all seemed to work.

@pheenoh They cant afford to, even AAA studios wont have enough compute to meet demand. Then theyll lose more money for refunds when it doesnt work on launch.

@PalmerLuckey Not just vr, macos is seeing love in game ports as well. It might only be a few % of marketshare but now it can be done at a fraction of the cost.

@Pirat_Nation Nah retarded af, modding is grey area at best this isn’t protected works. The amount of old mods being brought back to life after years of neglect will be a net positive. It just the updates won’t be attributed to the original mod author.
