This guy literally hasn't changed in the slightest in the 17 years he's been on YouTube. Idk if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Going to be hard when you hand a bunch of NJPW and AEW matches 5 stars like like candy. Bare in mind, I don't gripe with you as much as other people as it's your opinion, but I whoe heartedly disagree and think Cody and Roman was 5 stars.

Dave Meltzer @davemeltzerWON

Yep, I'm saying it should be in consideration for match of the year. Anything above 4 means excellent.

Even if Jack Perry did say something, that doesn't give the man carte blanche to attack his fellow employee. Especially at their job of employment. Just because Punk didn't outright lie doesn't make him look any better when looking at the clip- just makes Tony as bad.

Some of you saying “you can’t say it’s unprovoked, because we don’t know what Jack said to Punk” is giving the same energy as “but what was she wearing?” and “but why was she out so late”. You are victim blaming and if I were you, I’d take a pause and check myself.

It partially does. It was a pointless clip to air, and made AEW look bad for airing it, but the clip definitely shows that Punk is hot-headed and very thin skinned to start a useless attack. Not only that, he barely did any damage as he said to Jack.

He downplayed his actions. We can't confirm what was said between the 2, but action wise he didn't outright lie, but was acting like his actions weren't that bad. While the fight was pathetic for Khan to "fear for his life" over, Punk didn't come off looking good either.

Do you think CM Punk lied, told the truth, or mostly told the truth but embellished it a bit? 👇🏾

Punk clearly can't fight for shit, bur I still don't see the point in airing that. I've seen kindergardeners have a more intense fight, than that mess we saw.

@MonoxideYoutube Punk waited for Perry to have his hands in his hair to throw a shove/punch . Hes a pussy

OK, Punk clearly downplayed his hissy fit, but admittedly, there wasn't enough in that footage to warrant taking TV time away to air that for a pro wrestling angle. Very bizarre on Tony Khan's part.

What the clip basically showed was that Punk lied. Perry wasn’t in his space. Punk was the one who approached him and he was the aggressor. And it wasn’t just a choke, he threw a punch. I know many will ignore that. It’s cool. But that was the footage. #AEWDynamite

Cena makes sense. He got beat by the bloodline, and Undertaker suffered a lose to Roman Reigns in the past at Wrestlemania, and feuded with The Rock in the past.

Trip Skylark ❄️ @YallMustaForgot

@AllEliteDoug21 Then they should’ve been part of the story… since everyone was complaining about storyline consistency last year… it overshadows the point.. and it ruins the Bloodline build too. Years of build, for a Taker and Cena surprise run in?? This does nothing for me…

Despite my criticisms of Roman's title reign, that was a perfect way to end it. That Mania main event will be talked about historically for years.

Look, I don't blame CM Punk for his recent comments. He was asked about it, and decided not to run away from the question, but he is a main contributor to AEW's rapid decline in popularity, so I can't blame AEW for wanting to set any record straight.

It's wild to think that this is the weekend of the 40th edition of Wrestlemania - the biggest event in pro wrestling - and there's more buzz about AEW showing backstage footage at All In 2023. Absolutely wild.

Night 1 of Mania was pretty average. Nothing clicked at all tonight. Just felt completely flat for being what's to be the 40th edition of Wrestlemania.

I'm willing to give it a chance. The Rock hasn't produced anything quality related since he returned in 2011. It wasn't to his 2003 standard, but was definitely a breath of fresh air from what nostalgia act he was putting on for the last 13 years.

DugyFresh21 @AllEliteDoug21

I'm not feeling Hollywood Rock. It comes across outdated and forced. I think he should be that bad ass that was at the WM 40 press conference. Black wife beater and not giving a shit running the show.

When I say it needs to go, I mean it needs to be the only driving force to selling tickets. WWF business was very good when the heroes were usually the World Champ for years. Having Cody wait post Wrestlemania is just ridiculous at this point.

The thing is - you can't keep pushing his win back for too long. This old school mentality of babyfaces chasing the heel champions needs to go. Verne Gagne had to learn the hard way when he kept putting off Hulk Hogan's AWA title win. AWA tanked 6 years later.

Just Alyx @JustAlyxCentral

"Alyx, you were mad about Daniel Bryan. Why aren't you mad about Cody Rhodes?" Daniel Bryan didn't have a Royal Rumble win to "give up." He was never primed to be the guy. Bryan lost a majority of his matches, while Cody has won 90% of them since coming back. There isn't one

But, who could care at this point? Roman's title reign has been built super artificially. And you had the perfect opportunity to "finish the story" Instead, Cody's possibly going after the participation trophy against a guy he already beat 3 times.
