Back in my day, artists just didn't like each other sometimes and occasionally threw things at each other during interviews. They didn't take the existence of other people in the same genre as a personal affront that was worth writing songs about.
I want to know who told either of those fandoms that wanting to be a successful artist and/or not being a fawning fan of another artist is some kind of personal offense that deserves public lashings.
