The Cornell University r@pist. These men drugged a young woman and took turns r@ping her. In a group chat, they took a picture of her and invited others to rape her. Only two of them were expelled the others had to write an essay. You should be outraged by the outcome. This young woman will forever be changed by what happened to her and these young men get a slap on the hand.
United Healthcare just dropped ALL Advent Health service providers/hospitals from their insurance coverage. Yes, ALL. This is particularly alarming for my friends in central Florida. Advent owns a significant portion of hospitals and providers in that area.
The last 24 hours of news as a woman: - A man jacks off to the woman next to him on a plane. United makes her return to her seat. - 7 frat boys drug and gang rape a student for hours, and advertise “free p*ssy” to their frat. Cornell makes them write essays. - A football player rapes a student. LSU reduces his suspension. - A teen boy stalks and stabs a girl 10 times. Courts grant only a restraining order. - Brendan Carr spent 9 years in a cult raping teen girls. Trump made him FCC Chair.
Say what you will about Lauren Boebert but at least she didn’t get caught raping children; that’s how low the bar is.
There is a mandatory retirement age of 65 to be a commercial pilot because lives are in their hands. But a politician can be 110 or unable to talk and they are crashing entire constituenies.
No more half dead, geriatric white men in OUR government anymore. Age limits. Term limits. Cognitive limits. NOW!
Maybe instead of making Medicare, Medicaid & social security recipients work until they drop, we should require Congress to work for a fucking change. They make $174K a year, plus $79 per day for meals & incidentals. And now, once again, they’re on a break.
It’s just wild how 70-80 year olds are generally seen as unemployable due to physical and mental decline BUT we're allowing them to run our ENTIRE country.
We cannot overlook the reality that Black people are still being lynched.
The fact that the House just declared a recess partly to prevent the new Epstein petition by Massie from being discussed before midterms, should be a bigger story. The fact that Todd Blanche keeps refusing to comply with the court order to release the Epstein files following Katie Phang's lawsuit, should be a more significant story. The fact that the Epstein Estate ACTUALLY PAID a settlement to one of the women who alleged that Donald Trump raped her as a minor, and it was paid AFTER Epstein died, as told under oath by Epstein's longtime accountant, should be a more significant story. The fact that Trump said he wasn't ever on Epstein's plane and then we found out he was, should be a more significant story. The fact that senior officials gathered in the Situation Room to concoct and coordinate an Epstein coverup that should be a holy shit story, most significant of all. And when you combine ALL these stories and add to it his hiring of Alex Acosta, the birthday card, the movement of Maxwell to a more lenient facility, and then - especially - his panicked behavior on all things Epstein, it really should have ended his presidency, and at any other moment of our last 250-years, it would have.
We don't need the 25th Amendment. We would get Vance then and that's not an upgrade. We need Article II, Section 4 to remove Trump and everyone in his administration.
