Unfortunately, this mode of thinking does exist in parts of the #Muslim world and it lives in the minds of some too. This #mindset needs to be challenged from the core and a new narration needs to be built by Muslims into the #future. No #compulsion in the name of the #divine.

No #compulsion in religion (quran.com/2/256) is not only for those who 'enter' the religion, but also those who are already 'in' the #religion Even when 'in' a religion, it is still #optional and the individual may choose to exit or stay inside the 'fold' still.

Enough of humanity has now grown out of this kind of reasoning that such persuasions will now increasingly backfire and become obsolete in time. Muslims, collectively, are at the tail-end of that maturity progression, generally speaking. They will outgrow this phase too.
